We’re Not Here to Fix Others — But to Do THIS Instead!

We’re often told to stop trying to fix others.

To stop solving their problems.

To just work on ourselves.

And that’s true—to a point.

I used to step in quickly. Offering advice. Trying to help.

I thought I was doing good. I thought I was being useful.

Then I learned:

Not everyone wants help.

And many aren’t asking to be rescued.

So I turned inward.

I stopped rushing in.

I learned to lead myself first.

To ask better questions.

To heal what was mine to heal.

And my life shifted.

More self-love.

More peace.

More clarity.

More alignment.

But here’s the part people don’t say out loud:

Just because you realise you don't need to 'fix others', doesn’t mean you stop serving them.

Fixing implies that something is broken.

We aren't broken.

Healing or guiding respects sovereignty.

It says: “I trust your inner wisdom, and I’ll walk beside you, not pull you.”

Each person is the rightful authority in their own life.

But Inner work isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something deeper.

There are still too many hidden barriers in this world—emotional, systemic, spiritual, whether we want to see them or not, whether we are consciously aware of them or not.

Things most of us don't see until someone or something reflects them back.

And people are waiting—not to be saved, but to be seen.

Not for a solution, but for resonance.

And Resonance is emotional alignment.

Some of us are here to hold space.

To challenge lovingly.

To mirror.

To reflects truths.

To guide awakening through inner wisdom and intuition.

Not to control outcomes—but to walk beside others as they find their own way.

That’s not fixing.

That’s authentic presence. And we need more of it.

Because it's powerful!

There is a huge difference between those who lead with arrogance, seeking control and power, and those who lead from a genuine call to serve.

The former tries to fix others to assert dominance and impose their will.

The latter leads with humility, presence, and respect—honoring each person’s sovereignty and unique path.

True leadership and service have nothing to do with forcing change or “saving” others.

They are about illuminating the way with compassion, authenticity, and love.

Change starts within. But it doesn’t end there.

It radiates outward—in how we love, lead, listen, and live.

You’re not here to fix the world.

But you might be here to illuminate it with your loving energy, after learning how to truly love yourself,

deeply from within,

and also how to love and honour what's around you.

And maybe that’s the real work.

We’re not here to change the world alone...

But we are all connected... creating ripples of healing, wisdom, and understanding.

Simply being there for each other, as we each try to understand ourselves and our purpose—

I find that deeply empowering and beautiful.

What are you being called to embody right now?

Love and Light,

Awakened Soul
