It questioned my every decision, amplified my insecurities, and sometimes hit me with words that stung deeply.

“Why even try? You’ll just mess it up.”
“Look at everyone else—they’ve figured it out, and you’re just… stuck.”
These thoughts weren’t just fleeting moments of self-doubt. They became the stories I told myself about who I was and what I could achieve.
And here’s the thing: I believed them.
Every step I hesitated to take, every opportunity I talked myself out of—it all stemmed from those stories. I didn’t realize they weren’t facts. They were just narratives, born out of fear and insecurity, and I was the one giving them power.
